I like how you pulled back a little and included the ocean, and the roof tops of the buildings below, in the background. It gives you a better sense that this building front (or what was left of it) was up on a hill, nestled above the new buildings below. Ironically this building seems to have no roof, but the buildings below only show their roof tops. I would say the photo for me is old meets new.
